3. The Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai-600 079 is requested to send 5 copies of the Gazette Notification to the Government for record.

NOTIFICATION

The following draft of amendment to the Tamil Nadu Payment of Wages Rules, 1937, which it is proposed to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 26 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936 (Central Act IV of 1936) is hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected, thereby, as required by sub-section (5) of section 26 of the said Act.

Notice is hereby given that the draft amendment will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of three months from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and that any objection or suggestion, which may be received from any person with respect thereto before the expiry of the aforesaid period will be considered by the Government of Tamil nadu. The objection and suggestion, if any, should be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu, Labour and Employment Department, Fort St. George, Chennai-600 009, through the Commissioner of Labour, Chennai-600 006.

DRAFT AMENDMENT

In the said Rules, to rule 18, the following proviso shall be added, namely;-

"Provided that no annual return in Form IV need be sent by the Pay Master of a factory or as Industrial Establishment if a combined annual return in Form No.22 as required in clause (2) of rule 100 of the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules 1950 is furnished"
