ORDER :
The appended notification will be pulished in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette both in English and Tamil.
2. The Secretary, Tamil Development and Culture (Translations) Department will furnish the Tamil version of the Notification to the Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai for publication in the Gazette.
3. The non-official members of the Board shall hold office for a period of two years commencing on and from the date on which this appointment is first notified in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette as per sub-rule (2) of Rule 19 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Rules, 1986.
4. The Special Officer, Tamil Nadu Auto-Rickshaw and Taxi Drivers / Hair Dressers / Washermen / Washermen / Tailoring workers Welfare Board is designated as Special Officer to over-see the Board activities.
5. The Board shall be treated as First Class Committee for the purpose of Travelling Allowance and Dearness Allowance. The Special Officer of the Board is authorised to countersign the travelling allowance bills of the non-official members of the Board.
6. The expenditure shall be met from the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Welfare Board.
7. This order does not require the concurrence of the Finance Department vide G.O. Ms. No. 1177, Finance, dated 19.9.1973.

APPENDIX
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) (3) (4) and (5) of Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment Conditions of Work) Act 1982, (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby establishes a Board to be known as “The Tamilnadu Handicrafts Workers Welfare Board” to provide Social Security and Welfare Measures for the Manual Workers engaged in the employments mentioned under Item 32, 43,54 and 59 of the Schedules Employments under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act 1982, the persons employed in Handicrafts (6) will be included in the Board later on and nominates the following persons as the members to the said Board, namely:-
