ORDER:-

In the letter first read above, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, New Delhi have sanctioned the scheme of Development of Parking area at Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Madurai at a total cost of Rs.20.00 lakhs (Rupees Twenty lakhs only) and had released a sum of Rs.4.80 lakhs (Rupees Four lakhs and eighty thousand only) as the first instalment to execute the work.

2) In the Government order second read above the Government have approved the scheme of Construction of Parking area at Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Madurai at a total cost of Rs.20.00 lakhs (Rupees Twenty lakhs only) (Government of India share Rs.16.00 lakhs + State share Rs.4.00lakhs) with the usual terms and conditions issued by the Government of India.

3) In the reference 3rd read above, the Government of India New Delhi has released the 2nd and final instalment of Rs.11.20 lakhs (Rupees Eleven lakhs and twenty thousand only) and the Commissioner of Tourism in his reference 4th read above has requested to sanction the amount so as to draw and disburse it to the Commissioner, Corporation of Madurai, Madurai.

4) Government after careful consideration the release of final instalment of Rs.11.20 lakhs (Rupees Eleven lakhs and twenty thousand only) to the Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai for the above project, with the usual terms and conditions issued by the Government of India, New Delhi.

5) The Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 4 above to the Commissioner, Corporation of Madurai, Madurai under proper acknowledgement.

6) The amount sanctioned in para 4 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

“5452-Capital outlay on Tourism-01-Tourist Infrastructure-101-Tourist Centres-Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan-VI Scheme shared between State and Centres-UC providing Basic amenities in Tourist Centres-09. Grants in aid -03 Grants for specific schemes” (DPC 5452 01 101 UC 0934)”.

7) This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.2524/Information and Tourism/2005 Dated: 23-02-2005.
