////// ORDER: A proposal at an estimated cost of Rs 6.00 lakhs with Central Assistant of Rs 3.00 lakhs and Rs 3.00 as State share (Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., ) to facilitate instant booking of the tourists through internet, through payment Gate Way system was forwarded to Government of India, New Delhi. 2. Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, New Delhi has conveyed the sanction of Rs 3.00 lakhs as Central Financial Assistance on 50:50 basis between the Centre and State Government for installation of Payment Gate Way system and released a sum of Rs 2.70 lakhs (90% of the total Central Financial Assistance) as first installment to commence the work, vide their letter dated 31-3-2004. The amount received has been credited into State Government. 3. The Government of India imposed the following terms and conditions:-
Rs 2.70 lakhs (90% of the Central Financial Assistance) as first instalment as advance in the current financial year 2003-2004. Rs 30,000/- (10% of the total Central Financial Assistance)as second and final instalment on successful completion, commissioning of the project, submission of utilization certificate and proof of codal formalities followed by the State Government of Tamil Nadu. 4. Sanction of the President has also been accorded to release an amount of Rs 2,70,000/- (Rupees two lakhs and seventy thousand only) as first installment to Commissioner of Tourism, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, as mentioned above. 5. Government after careful consideration approve the scheme of installation Payment of Gateway system through ICICI Bank at the total cost of Rs 6.00 lakhs (Rupees six lakhs only) with Central share of Rs 3.00 lakhs and State share (Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.,) of Rs 3.00 lakhs by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.,. 6. Government also accorded sanction for the release of first installment of Central share of Rs 2.70 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and seventy thousand only) to the Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2 for the above project. Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., is permitted to meet the State share of Rs 3.00 lakhs (Rupees three lakhs only) out of the total estimated cost of Rs. 6.00 lakhs and execute the project. 7. The Commissioner of Tourism , Chennai-2 is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para above to the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., under proper acknowledgement. 8. The amount sanctioned in para 6 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-
