GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU ABSTRACT Tourism – Provision of infrastructure facilities at Arulmigu Thirupullamangai Bramapureeswarer Temple, Pasupathi Koil, Thanjavur Dsitrict – Administrative approval at an estimate cost of Rs.4.50 lakhs – Sanction of Rs 2.25 lakhs from Tourism Department funds its share – Orders – Issued. ORDER: The District Collector, Thanjavur has sent a proposal through the Commissioner of Tourism for a sum of Rs 4.50 lakhs for the development of approach road in Thirupullamangai Bramapureeswarer Temple, Pasupathi Koil, Thanjavur District and assured that 50% of the total cost would be met from the Papanasam Panchayat Union Fund. The asset created would be maintained by the Pasupathi Koil Panchayat. 2. The Commissioner of Tourism has recommended the proposal of the District Colletor, Thanjavur which is included in the policy note of Tourism Department for the year 2005-2006 and requested this department to sanction Rs 2.25 lakhs from Tourism Department fund as its share and permit the Collector, Thanjavur District to meet the balance amount of Rs 2.25 lakhs from the funds of Pasupathi Koil Panchayat Union. 3. The Government after careful examination, accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Tourism and approve the total estimate of Rs.4.50 lakhs (Rupees four lakhs and fifty thousand only) for the development of approach road in Thirupullamangai Bramapureeswarer Temple, Pasupathi Koil, Thanjavur District and sanction of Rs.2.25 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and twenty five thousand only) from Tourism Department as its share and permit the District Collector, Thanjavur to meet the balance amount of RS 2.25 lakhs from Papanasam Pachayat Union Fund. Subject to the condition that the estimate should be countersigned by the Executive Engineer / Appropriate Technical Sanction authority before commencement of work. The Executing Agency shall be the Collector of Thanjavur District. The assets created with this fund would be maintained by the Pasupathi Koil Panchayat. 4. The Commissioner of Tourism is requested to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 3 above to the Collector of Thanjavur District. He is requested to fix time schedule for execution of work before disbursement to the Executive Agency. 5. The amount sanctioned in para 2 shall be debited to the following head of account.-
6. The Commissioner of Tourism is requested to watch the progress of the works and send periodical report to Government. The Commissioner of Tourism is also requested to get the report on Progress of works periodically and Utilisation Certificate from the concerned authorities and send it to Government. 7.
