ORDER:

The Commissioner of Tourism has forwarded and recommended the proposal of the Collector, Krishnagiri District for the provision of the following infrastructure facilities at Hosur Arulmigu Chandrasoodeswarar Temple at Krishnagiri District.

He has also stated that the Collector of Krishnagiri District has to met 50% of the total cost from the District Administration funds.

2. The Government after careful examination approves the proposal of the Commissioner of Tourism for the provision of Infrastructure facilities at a total estimate of cost of Rs 27 lakhs. Accordingly, the Government sanction a sum of Rs 13.5 lakhs ((Rupees thirteen lakhs and fifty thousand only) from the Tourism Department Fund as its share and permit the Collector, Krishnagiri District to meet the balance amount of Rs 13.5 lakhs (Rupees thirteen lakhs and fifty thousand only) from District Administration Fund for provision of Infrastructure facilities noted in para 1 above. The assets created would be maintained by the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department.

3. The amount sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account:

“5452 – Capital Outlay on Tourism – 01 – Tourist infrastructure 101- Tourist Centre – Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan-II State Plan – KV improvement of Basic facilities in Tourist Centers – 09 Grants – in – aid 03 – Grants for Specific Schemes.”(DPC No.:5452 01 101 KV 16904)

4. The Commissioner of Tourism is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 2 above to the Collector, Krishnagiri District. The Commissioner of Tourism is requested to fix time schedule for the execution of work before disbursement to the Executing Agency.

5. The Commissioner of Tourism is requested to watch the progress of works and send periodical reports to Government. The Commissioner of Tourism is also requested to get the reports on progress of works periodically and obtained utilization certificate from the authority concerned and send it to Government.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 8/JS (TK)/06, Dated: 17-1-2006
