In the reference first read above, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India had sanctioned the scheme of Development of Parking Lot at Tiruttani at a cost of Rs.25.00 lakhs and had released a sum of Rs.6.00 lakhs as the first instalment to execute the work.

2) In the Government order 2^rd read above the Government have approved the scheme of Development of Parking lot at Tiruttani at a total cost of Rs.25.00 lakhs (with Central share of Rs.20.00 lakhs and State share of Rs.5.00 lakhs) with the usual terms and conditions issued by the Government of India. Orders were also issued for the sanction of Rs.6.00 lakhs being the 1st instalment of Central share and also sanction of Rs.5.00 lakhs (Rupees Fivle lakhs only) from Tiruttani Town Panchayat Fund as first instalment of State share.

3) In the reference fourth read above, the Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2 has requested to sanction the second instalment of Rs.10.00 lakhs (Rupees Ten lakhs only) which was released by the Government of India vide their reference 3rd read above. The above amount has been remitted into Government account vide challan No.6423 dated 8-4-2003.

4) The Government after careful consideration sanction the release of second instalment of Rs.10.00 lakhs (Rupees Ten lakhs only) to the Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2 for the above profject, with the usual terms and conditions issued by the Government of India, New Delhi.

5) The amount sanctioned in para 4 above shall be debited to:

The head 3452 – Tourism -01 – Tourist Infrastructure – 102 – Tourist Accommodation – schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan-VI Schemes shared between State and Centre UT Expansion and Upgradation of existing Tourist facilities 09-Grants in Aid-02 Grants for capital expenditure (DPC 3452 01 102 UI 0925) by reappropriation of funds in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004 from the head.

" 3452 - Tourism - 01 - Tourist Infrastructure - 101 - tourist Centers - Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - VI Scheme shares between State and Centre - UM providing basic amenities in Tourist Centre - 09 - Grants - in - aid - 03 - Grants for specific scheme". (DPC No: 3452 - 01 - 101 - UM - 0938 )". Necessary funds will be provided in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004.

6) Pending provision of funds in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004 by reappropriation. The Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2 is authorised to draw the amount sanctioned in para 4 above and disburse the amount to the Executive Engineer, Buildings (C&M) Division, Public Works Department, Tiruvallur District under proper acknowledgement.

7) The Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2 is requested to include the item of expenditure in the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004 proposal and furnish the quarterly progress report in triplicate for onward transmission to Government of India.

8) This orders issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.o.No.53147/Fin/CF&CP/2003 Dated:7-10-2003 and Additional Sanction LedgerNo.548.
