GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU ABSTRACT Tourism – Provision of infrastructure facilities at Arulmighu Kailasanathar Temple at Tharamangalam in Salem District at an estimated cost of Rs.20.15 lakhs (Rupees Twenty lakhs and fifteen thousand only) – Administrative approval for Rs.10.075 lakhs( Rupees Ten lakhs Seven thousand and five hundred only) from the funds of the Salem District Collectors, District Administration and Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowment and sanction of Rs.10.075 lakhs from Tourism fund as its share - Orders – Issued.

ORDER:- The Commissioner of Tourism has forwarded and recommended the proposal of the Collector, Salem District for the provision of the following infrastructure facilities at Arulmighu Kailasanathar temple, Tharamangalam in Salem District.
He has also stated that the Collector of the Salem has assured that 50% of the total cost will be met from the District Administration and Hindu Religious Endowments Department funds. Therefore he has requested the Government to sanction Administrative approval for the estimate of Rs.20.15 lakhs (Rupees Twenty lakhs and fifteen thousand only) and to sanction the 50% share of the Project cost from Tourism Department as its share and permit the Collector, Salem District to meet the balance amount of Rs.10.075 lakhs (Rupees Ten lakhs Seven thousand and five hundred only) from the District Administration and Hindu Religious Endowments Department funds. 2.The Government after careful examination, accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Tourism and approve the estimate cost of Rs.20.15 lakhs (Rupees Twenty lakhs and fifteen thousand only) for the provision of infrastructure facilities at Arulmighu Kailasanathar temple, Tharamangalam in Salem District and sanction of Rs.10.075 lakhs (Rupees Ten lakhs Seven thousand and five hundred only) from Tourism fund as its share and permit the Collector to meet the balance amount of Rs.10.075 lakhs from the District Administration and Hindu Religious Endowments Department funds. 3. The Commissioner of Tourism is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 2 above to the Collector, Salem District. 4. The amount sanctioned in para-2 shall be debited to the following head of account.
5. The Commissioner of Tourism is requested to watch the progress of the works and send periodical report to Government. The Commissioner of Tourism is also requested to get the report on Progress of works periodically and Utilisation Certificate from the concerned authorities and send it to Government. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.CF&CP/ 347/05, dated 20.10.05
