ORDER:-

The Commissioner of Tourism has forwarded and recommended the proposal of Collector, Krishnagiri for the provision of the following infrastructure facilities at Tourist Spot Developpment of Thally Big Tank in Krishnagiri District.

He has also stated that the Collector of the Krishnagiri has assured that 50% of the total cost will be met from the District Administration funds as detailed below.

The assets created would be maintained by the Public Works Department (W.R.O).Therefore he has requested the Government to sanction of Rs.30.00 lakhs (Rupees Thirty lakhs only) being the 50% share of the Project cost from Tourism Department as its share and permit the Collector, Krishnagiri District to meet the balance Rs.30.00 lakhs (Rupees Thirty lakhs only) from the District Administration fund.

2.The Government after careful examination, accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Tourism and approve the total estimate of Rs.60.00 lakhs (Rupees Sixty lakhs only) for the provision of infrastructure facilities as noted in para 1 above at Thally Big Tank in Thally village of Denkanikottai Taluk. Accordingly, the Government in Krishnagiri District sanction of Rs.30.00 lakhs (Rupees Thirty lakhs only) from Tourism Department as its share and permit the Collector to meet the balance amount of Rs.30.00 lakhs (Rupees Thirty lakhs only) from the Krishnagiri District Development fund for the schemes as noted in para 1above. The assets created with this fund would be maintained by the Public Works Department (W.R.O)

3. The Commissioner of Tourism is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 2 above to the Collector, Krishnagiri District.

4. The Commissioner of Tourism is requested to watch the progress of the works and send periodical reports to Government. The Commissioner of Tourism is also requested to get the reports on Progress of works periodically and Utilisation Certificate from the concerned authorities and send it to Government.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.74242/CF&C.P/05,dated 18.10.05.
