Tourism - Part-II Schemes for 2003-2004 - A sum of Rs.5.00 Lakhs (Rupees Five lakhs only) - Sanctioned for organizing Guide Training - Orders - issued.

Read:

2) From the Commissioner of Tourism, Chennai-2,D.O.Lr.No.12440/P&D11/2002, dated 19-12-2002.

The Commissioner of Tourism has sent a proposal to Government for organizing Guide Training Course for Tourist Guides during 2003-2004 and requested to sanction a sum of Rs.30 lakhs (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) for this purpose.

2) After careful examination, the Government accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Tourism and a sum of Rs.5.00 Lakhs (Rupees Five Lakhs only) is sanctioned for organizing training course for the Tourist guides during the year 2003-2004.

3) The amount sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to "3452.Tourism -80.General - 001.Direction and Administration - I.Non Plan - JA.Promotion and Publicity of Tourism -05 Office expenses -72.Traning (DPC 3452 80 001 JA 7102)

4) Pending provision of funds in Revised Estimate /Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004 the Commissioner of Tourism is authorized to draw the amount sanctioned in para 3 above.

5) The Commissioner of Tourism is also requested to surrender the above funds and include the same under 72 training while sending the proposals in Revised Estimate /Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004.

6) The Government also direct the Commissioner of Tourism to make necessary arrangements for the training through Anna Institute of Management, Chennai and send a report to Government.

7) This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.34913/I&T/2003, Dated : 13.6.2003.
