ORDER:-

The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated: 19.1.2005.

NOTIFICATION

WHEREAS in the Government of Tamil Nadu, Industries Department, Notification No. 11 (2) / Ind./ 82 / 2005 in part -II Section 2 published at Page No. 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated: 26.1.2005, Tvl. Southern Structurals Limited, Chennai has been declared as a relief undertaking:

Now THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Relief Undertakings (Special provisions) Act, 1969 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1969) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs:-

(i) that all the enactment specified in the Schedule to the said Act shall not apply; and

(ii) that all contracts, assurances of property agreements, settlements awards standing or other instructions in force to which the said relief undertaking is a party or which may be applicable to the said relief undertaking immediately before the date of issue of order shall be suspended in operation and that all the rights, privilege obligations and liabilities accruing or arising there under before the said date, shall be suspended with effect on and from the date of 17.9.2004.

Provided that nothing in this notification shall apply to contracts, assurances of property and agreements entered into by the said relief undertaking with any Bank, the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation, the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited, the Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India, the Life Insurance Corporation, General Insurance Corporation of India Limited, the New India Assurance Company Limited and the United Insurance Company Limited.
