ORDER:

In the Revised Estimate 2003-2004, a sum of Rs.10.00 crores has been provided towards disbursement of the subsidy (individual based subsidy) in respect of the units assisted by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (TIIC). Out of the above sum of Rs.10.00 crores, a total sum of Rs.4,33,51,932/- has been released so far in the G.Os. first to third read above to TIIC towards State Capital Subsidy to the Industrial Units. In the G.O.fourth read above, Government have issued orders for sanction of subsidy to the eligible pipeline cases of small / medium / large scale industries subject to certain conditions. The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited in the letters fifth read above, has requested the Government to release Rs.5,66,08,879/- for disbursement of State Capital Subsidy to the Industrial units assisted by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited and SIPCOT units and SIPCOT pipeline cases eligible for subsidy during January 2004 to March 2004.

2. The Government after careful examination of the request of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited have decided to sanction a sum of Rs.5,66,08,879/- (Rupees five crores sixty six lakhs eight thousand, eight hundred and seventy nine only) to the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited towards disbursement of State Capital subsidy for the industrial units assisted by the TIIC and eligible SIPCOT units and SIPCOT pipeline cases eligible for subsidy during January 2004 to March 2004.

3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

"2885 - Other outlays on Industries and Minerals -01. Industrial Financial Institutions - 101 - Assistance to Industrial Financial Institutions - Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II State Plan - JD Assistance to the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited towards Share subsidy to Industrial units - 11 - Subsidies - 01 - Individual based subsidy (D.P.Code No.2885.01.101. JD.1113).

4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be credited to Personal Deposit Account of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited viz. "K. Deposits and Advances (b) Deposit not bearing interest - 8443 - 00 - Civil Deposits - 800. Other Deposits - AE. Deposits of Government Companies, Corporations, etc. - 01. Deposits of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (DP Code No.8443 - 00 - 800 - AE 010H) (Receipts)."

5. The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is authorised to draw the amount sanctioned in para 2 above and credit it to the Personal Deposit Account of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited.

6. The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited, is requested to follow the guidelines issued by the Government for sanction of subsidy (individual based subsidy), maintain proper disbursement of the subsidy and obtain stamped receipts from the units assisted. Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited is informed that further release will be considered only on production of disbursement certificate for the amount of Rs.5,66,08,879/- sanctioned in para 2 above.

7. The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is directed to obtain the utilization certificate from the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited and send it to Government.

8. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 21662/Ind/2004-1, dated 29.3.2004.
