Sir,

I am directed to convey the approval of the Government to the following proposals of TIDCO in connection with implementation of Ennore SEZ project:

(a) Formation of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPC) to carry out several activities like contour survey, study of Land Use Pattern, studying external connectivity to the project site, arrangement of common utilities, appointment of consultants for preparation of feasibility study and determining marketing strategy, before the induction of the private developer.

(b) To approach Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) and Ennore Port Limited to be partners of TIDCO in the SPV.

(c)  TIDCO / SPV to start the work towards feasibility report preparation, promoter identification, etc., after receipt of 'in principle' approval from the Government of India for the Ennore SEZ project.
