GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU Abstract Judiciary – Supply of Law Books and periodicals to High Court Library, Madras during the year 2002-2003 – Expenditure – Sanctioned HOME (COURTS.III) DEPARTMENT G.O.MS.NO.935 Read again: G.O.Ms.No.1281, Home, dt.21.12.2001. Read also :- From the Registrar (O.S) High Court, Chennai D.O.Lr.No.329A/2002/Lib.I dt.19.4.2002. **** ORDER: In the G.O. read above, the Government have sanctioned a sum of Rs.15.00 lakhs for the purchase of Law Books and Law Journals for the High Court Library during the year 2001-2002. 2. The Registrar (O.S) High Court, Madras in his letter read above, has now requested the Government to accord standing sanction for a sum of Rs.30 lakhs per annum as recurring expenditure towards the purchase of Law Books and Law Journals for use of the High Court Library, Madras. 3. The Government have examined the proposal of the Registrar (O.S.) High Court, Madras and decided to sanction a sum of Rs.30.00 lakhs to the High Court Library, Madras for purchase of Law Books and Law Journals during the year 2002-2003. 4. Accordingly, the Government sanction a sum not exceeding Rs.30.00 lakhs (Rupees thirty lakhs only) towards the purchase of Law Books and Law Journals to the High Court Library, Madras. 5. The expenditure sanctioned in para 5 above shall be debited to the Head of Account “2014.00. Administration of Justice – 102 – High Court – I – Non-Plan – AA – Judges and Registrar – 68 cost of books Charged Note Nooks/Slates etc. “(D.P.C.No.2014 00 102 AA 6802) 6. Necessary funds will be provided in the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003. Pending provision of funds in the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003, the Pay and Accounts Officer, High Court is requested to admit the bill presented by the Registrar General, High Court, Madras. The Registrar General, High Court, Madras is requested to send suitable proposals to the Government in Finance Department at the appropriate time for inclusion of this expenditure in the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003. 7. This orders issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O. No.72423/Finance (Home.II) 2002 dated 1.10.2002 and additional sanction Ledger No.605. (BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR) SYED
