Lr.No.11015/1/2001 JUS (M) dated.17.5.2001 and 8.2.2002. 3) From the Deputy Director and State Informatic Officer, National Informatics Centre, Tamil Nadu State Unit, Chennai - 90, Lr.No.10(2)/2002, MDS-100, dated.28.3.2002. 4) From the Government of India, Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Justice) D.O.Lr.No.11015/1/2001 JUS (M), dated.30.4.2002, 16.5.2002 and 27.5.2002. **** ORDER: The Government of India have requested the State Government to formulate the Project Report for Computerisation of City Civil Courts, in Chennai City. The Project is to be implemented in two phases. The Government of India have indicated that a sum of Rs.82.00 lakhs will be released for l2001-2002 and that the remaining amount will be released during the next financial year. 2. Accordingly, the Deputy Director General and State Informatics Officer, Chennai formulated a detailed Project Report for implementation of the programme in two phases, at a total cost of Rs.2.09 Crores. The estimate was prepared based on the guidelines received from the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, New Delhi and the Project Report forwarded to the Government of India on 6.3.2002 for sanction of entire amount for implementing the Project. 3. Since the Government of India indicated that only a sum of Rs.82.00 lakhs would be released immediately, the Deputy Director, National Informatics Centre , Chennai furnished a revised proposal restricting the expenditure to Rs.82.00 lakhs for the initial phase to be implemented immediately and the same was forwarded to the Government of India. The Government of India have since allocated a sum of Rs.82.00 lakhs. 4. The Government examined the proposal and approve the Project Report submitted by the Deputy Director General and State Informatic Officer, National Informatics Centre (Tamil Nadu State Unit). Sanction is accorded to the incurring of an expenditure not exceeding Rs.82.00 lakhs (Rupees eighty two lakhs only) towards the work relating to computerization of the City Civil Courts, Chennai as Phase-I. The following applications will be implemented during Phase-I. i)
Cause List 5. The expenditure should be debited under "2014 - 00 - Administration of Justice - 105 Civil and Session Courts - I - Non - Plan - AA . City Civil Court - 76. Computer and Accessories 01 Purchase (D.P.Code No.2014 00 105 AA 7618). 6. The expenditure constitutes an item of "New Service" and approval of the Legislature will be obtained in due course by including it in the Supplementary Estimate for 2002-2003. Pending approval of the legislature, the expenditure will be initially met by an advance from the Contingency Fund. The Registrar General, High Court is requested to send necessary application in the prescribed format along with a copy of the order to the Finance (BG.II) Department for sanction of advance from the Contingency Fund. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.4202/FS(P)/2002, dated.19.9.2002 and the additional Sanction Ledger No.549. (BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR) NARESH
