GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU ABSTRACT High Court - Computerisation in High Court - Opening of Facilitation/Enquiry Counter at the High Court, Madras - Expenditure - Sanctioned. HOME (COURTS IV) DEPARTMENT G.O.Ms.No.782 Read: 1. From the Registrar, High Court, Chennai in Lr. R.O.C.No.113/2001/ Comp, dated 15.11.01 & 19.12.01. 2. From Government of India, Ministry of Law Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Justice), New Delhi letter No.110171/Jus(M), dated 12.07.01. 3. From the Technical Director, Government of India, Ministry of Information of Technology, NIC, New Delhi Letter No.NIC/Courts/2001/92, dated 07.12.01. ***** Order The Registrar, High Court has sent the project proposal received from the Technical Director, NIC, New Delhi for opening of facilitation/Enquiry Counter at the High Court, Madras. He has informed that Computer Committee headed by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice has recommended that the project proposal should be implemented in its entirety irrespective of cost involvement. 2. Government of India in their Letter No.110171/2001 Jus(M) dated 12.07.2001 while conveying their sanction to the payment of Rs.2.35 crores during 2001-2002 for the Centrally Sponsored Scheme for construction of Court Buildings/residential quarters for Judges/Judicial Officers requested that out of the above amount Rs.10 lakhs may be utilized for establishment of facilitation/Enquiry Counters in the High Court of Madras. 3. The Government have carefully examined the proposal of the Registrar, High Court and have decided to accept it. They accordingly sanction expenditure not exceeding Rs.32.90 lakhs ( Rupees thirty two lakhs and ninety thousand only) for opening of facilitation/Enquiry Counter at the High Court, Madras. 4.The expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 3 above shall be debited to "2014.00-Admin. of Justice - 102. High Court I Non-Plan-AA. Judges and Registrar-76. Computer and Accessories 01 - Purchase (DPC 2014 00 102 AA 7615) 5.This is a new scheme the expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 3 above shall not constitute an item of new service, since it is incurred under charged expenditure. Necessary funds will be provided in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003. Pending provision of funds, the Registrar General, High Court, Madras is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in paragraph 3 above. 6.The Pay and Accounts Officer, High Court, Madras is requested to admit the bills, if otherwise found in order as and when presented by the Registrar General, High Court, Madras. The Registrar General, High Court is requested to send suitable proposals to Government in Finance Department for inclusion of above item of expenditure in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003 at the appropriate time. 7.This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its No.62302/H2/2002 dated :26.08.2002 and additional sanction ledger No.451. /BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR/ SYED
