No.1001 Read: From the Registrar(AS), High Court, Chennai Letter Roc. No.44B/2001/Comp., dated.15.11.2001 and 8.7.2002. **** ORDER: The Registrar (AS), High Court has stated that the National Informatic Centre, New Delhi has prepared a comprehensive Project proposal for computerization of High Court Bench at Madurai at an estimated cost of Rs.2.54 Crores which was considered and approved by the Computer Committee headed by the Honourable Chief Justice . He has now stated that the construction of buildings for the High Court Bench at Madurai is nearing completion and electrical wiring works have commenced. The net-working for the Computerisation of High Court Bench at Madurai has to be done only along with the electrical works before the completion of building, since net-working involves internal cabling for terminal purposes. He has requested the Government to sanction initially a sum of Rs.18,86,186/- for the net-working for the computerization of the High Court Bench at Madurai. 2. The proposal of the Registrar (AS), High Court, Madras has been carefully examined by the Government. They have decided to accept it and accordingly sanction is accorded to incur an expenditure of Rs.18,86,186/- (Eighteen lakhs, Eighty six thousand, one hundred and eighty six only) towards the works connected with the net-working relating to the computerization of the High Court Bench at Madurai. 3. The expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 2 above shall be debited to "2014 . 00 . Admn. and Justice - 102. High Court - I. Non-Plan - AA. Judges and Registrar - 76. Computer and Accessories (DPC.No.2014 00 102 AA 7605)". 4. The expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 2 above shall not constitute an item of New Service since it is incurred "under charged expenditure". Necessary funds will be provided in the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003. Pending provision of such funds, Registrar General High Court is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in paragraph 2 above. 5. The Pay and Accounts Officer, Chennai - 104 is requested to admit the bills presented by the Registrar General if otherwise found in order. 6. The Registrar General, High Court, Madras is requested to send suitable proposals to the Government in Finance Department for inclusion of the above expenditure in the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2002-2003 at the appropriate time. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.59966/Home.II/2002-1, dated.28.8.2002 and the additional Sanction Ledger No.462. (BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR) SYED
