------ ORDER:
In his letter first read above, the Chief Engineer (NABARD) has sent proposals for improvements of 162 numbers of Other District Roads covering 945.22 kms length at a cost of Rs.101.17 crores for loan assistance under RIDF VIII of NABARD.
2. In the light of the sanction accorded by the NABARD in this letter second read above and after examination the Government accept the proposal of the Chief Engineer (NABARD) and accord administrative sanction for the improvements of 162 Other District Roads as mentioned in the Annexure to this order at a cost of Rs.101.17 crores (Rupees One hundred and one crores and seventeen lakhs only) with the loan assistance from NABARD under RIDF VIII.
3. The total outlay of Rs.101.17 crores will consist of 90% NABARD loan cast Rs.91.0530 (Rupees Ninety one crores five lakhs and thirty thousands only) and 10% as Government share at Rs.10.1170 crores (Rupees Ten crores and eleven lakhs and seventy thousands only).
4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account: "5054 - Capital Outlay on Roads and Bridges 04 District and Other Roads - 337 Road works schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II State Plan - JK - Improvements to District and Other Roads with loan assistance from NABARD - 16 Major works - (DPC No.5054-04-337-JK-1607)."
5. The Chief Engineer (NABARD), Chennai is requested to execute the works sanctioned in para 2 above utilising the provisions made by NABARD and the Government as their shares in full and complete the Road works within the time limit prescribed by NABARD.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O. No.2207 / FS / P / 2002 dated 29.6.2002.
