2) The Managing Director, M.R. Hospital, Aminjikarai, Chennai has applied for recognition of the hospital in the accredited list of private hospitals, approved by the Government for the purpose of sanctioning financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to indigent patients who undergo Kidney Transplantation. The Government have examined the request in consultation with the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services. The Government consider that in addition to the present 19 accredited private hospitals mentioned in paragraph 1 above, M.R. Hospital, Aminjikarai, Chennai may be recognised for the purpose of granting financial assistance from Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to indigent patients undergoing Kidney Transplantation Surgery.

 

3) The Government, accordingly, direct that in addition to the present 19 accredited private hospitals mentioned in paragraph 1 above, the M.R. Hospital, Aminjikarai, Chennai be recognised for the purpose of granting financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to indigent patients undergoing Kidney Transplantation Surgery.

 

4) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O. No.46024/CMPRF/2000, dated: 23.6.2000.
