ORDER:

In G.O.4 (D)No.8, Health, dated.15.10.2003, the Government have sanctioned Rs.88.00 lakhs for carrying out public health measures and sanitary arrangements for the ensuing Kumbakonam Mahamaham Festival 2004.

2) As public health is a specialized area, the Government have decided to form a committee to oversee the implementation of public health measures. Accordingly the Government direct that the committee be constituted with the following officials to supervise the implementation of public health measures for the ensuing Kumbakonam Mahamaham festival 2004.

1. District Collector, Thanjavur - Chairman

2. Commissioner, Kumbakonam Municipality - Member

3. Personal Assistant to Collector (Panchayat Development) - Member (Panchayat Development)

4. Personal Assistant to Collector ( Town Panchayats) - Member

5. Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Thanjavur. - Member

6. District Revenue Officer, Thanjavur - Member

7. Deputy Director (Public Health), Thanjavur. -Member Secretary

3) The Committee shall oversee the tendering process involved in the items of which sanctioned in the Government Order read above and as well as implementation aspects.
