------------- Order: In the Government Order first read above orders were issued for the bifurcation of Dharmapuri District into two Districts namely Dharmapuri District with Headquarters at Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri District with Headquarters at Krishnagiri. 2. The Director of Medical and Rural Health Services has accordingly sent proposal for setting up the Office of the Joint Director of Health Services in Krishnagiri by redeployment of certain staff. He has also requested sanctioning of recurring expenditure of Rs.4.40 lakhs towards upgradation, petrol, telephone etc and non recurring expenditure of Rs.7.40 lakhs towards vehicle, furniture etc., to the Joint Director of Health Services office. 3. The Government have carefully examined the above proposal of the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services and issue the following orders: (a) the office of the Joint Director of Health Services should be set up immediately in Krishnagiri and following posts are sanctioned to the above Joint Director of Health Services office. 1. Joint Director of Health Services 1 2. Administrative Officer 1 3. Office Superintendent 2 4. Assistants 2 5. Junior Assistant 2 6. Typist 2 7. Statistical Asst 8. Office Assistant 2 9. Driver 1 All the above posts except the post of driver should be filled up by redeployment. The Director of Medical and Rural Health Services is requested to utilize the existing post of Junior Administrative Officer in the Taluk Hospital. The post will be upgraded as Administrative Officer in future. The post of driver should be filled up by outsourcing through the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation. The Director of Medical and Rural Health Services should send a report regarding the details of posts redeployed to the new office. (b) Sanction is accorded to incur a recurring expenditure of Rs.2.60 lakhs (Rupees two lakhs and sixty thousand only) towards the upgradation of a post, petrol, telephone charge etc. (Rs.1.20 lakhs for upgradation, Rs.1.20 lakhs for petrol, and Rs.0.20 lakhs for telephone charges) and the above expenditure shall be debited to the following Head of Account.
(c) Sanction is also accorded for the non-recurring expenditure of Rs.7.40 lakhs (Rupees Seven Lakhs and forty thousand only) towards purchase of vehicle and furniture (Rs.5.00 lakhs for vehicle, and Rs.2.40 lakhs for furniture) to the newly formed office of the Joint Director of Health Services, Krishnagiri and the above expenditure shall be debited to the the following Head of Account:
4. He is also requested to ensure the functioning of the office of the Joint Director of Health Services with immediate effect. The staff should be positioned in the office before 9.2.2004. 5. The Director of Medical and Rural Health Services is permitted to incur the above expenditure pending provision of funds in Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004. He should include the expenditure in the Final Modified Appropriation proposals for 2003-2004. The Pay and Accounts Officer (South) / Treasury Officer is requested to admit the bills if otherwise found to be in order. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.25 / JS(SG) / H2 / 04 dated 6.2.2004 and sanction Ledger No.1106.
