ORDER

In the Government orders read above, the following private hospitals have been recognised for the life saving surgeries such as Heart and Kidney transplantation under the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund Scheme.

HEART SURGERY

2.In G.O.Ms.No.400 Finance(Salaries) Department, dated 29.8.2000, the Government have approved a list containing 74 private hospitals so as to enable the Government employees and their family members and undergo specialized/advanced surgeries for treatment and to get financial assistance under Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme 1991 (TNGEHPS) Ashen Polyclinic Hospital is one among the 74 Private hospitals approved by the Government under Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme 1991 to conduct surgeries in the following specialties.

1.Cardiology
2.Nephrology
3.Neurology
4.Oncology
5.Orthapaedies 

The Director of Medical Education and Rural Health Services has recommended that Ashen Polyclinic, Coimbatore may be approved as recognised Institution under Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund Scheme to undertake specialised and advanced surgeries treatment in the specialities of Cardiology and Nephrology. 

3.The Government have examined the request of Managing director, Ashwin Polyclinic , Coimbatore and the recommendation of Director of Medical and Rural Health Services and accordingly, direct that in addition to the present accredited private hospitals mentioned in paragraph above, Ashwin Polyclinic Hospital, Coimbatore be recognised for the purpose of granting financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to indigent patients undergoing Kidney Transplantation and Heart Surgery as SI.No.23 for Kidney transplantation surgery and as SI.No.18 for Heart Surgery.

4.This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department Vide its U.O. No.77/FS/P/2002, dated 10.1.2002.
