The following notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extra-ordinary dated the 16^th October 2002.

 NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 1 of the Thiruvalluvar University Act, 2002 (Tamil Nadu Act 32 of 2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 16^th day of October 2002 as the date on which the rest of the said Act other than those sections referred to in the said sub-section (4), shall  come into force.
