 As per the orders issued in the Government order first cited, the State Government employees who draw pay in the scale of pay of Rs.12000-375-16500 and above alone are eligible for air travel in economy class outside the State and the Officers who draw pay scale of Rs.22400-525-24500 and above are eligible for air travel in executive class. 

2) In the Government letter second cited, clarifications have been issued to the effect that the Chief Secretary to Government and equal cadre officials shall be permitted to travel by air within the State and all other officials shall not be permitted air journey within the State. 

3) In the references 3^rd to 8^th cited, considering the importance and nature of duties the certain officers have already been permitted to travel by air within the State.

4) It has been brought to the notice of the Government that the officers at the level of Secretaries to Government, Heads of Departments and second level officers are experiencing difficulties in attending the time bound inspection works and the Government have examined this issue in detail and decided to permit the following Officers to travel by air within the State 

i)   Secretaries to Government

ii)  All Heads of Departments

iii) Special Secretaries to Government

iv)  Additional Secretaries to Government

v)   IPS Officers in the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police and above

vi)  IFS Officers in the rank of Conservator of Forests and above.
