---- ORDER: In the Government Order first read above, among other things,
it has been ordered that 60% of arrears of pensionery benefits to those who
retired between

Accordingly, the Government direct that the balance amount of 60% arrears of commutation along with interest from 1998-99 arrived upto 31--3--2004 be paid in cash, in three equal annual instalments with interest starting from the financial year 2004--2005. The interest shall also be allowed for the balance amount to be paid during 2005--2006 and 2006--2007 at the interest rate as applicable to General Provident Fund. 3. The Pension Pay Officer/Treasury Officer/Sub-Treasury Officer will work out the commutation arrears due to the pensioners as on 31—3--2004 and disburse the arrears in three instalments in the year 2004--2005, 2005--2006 and 2006--2007. 5. 6. For the purpose of calculating the interest, the rates of interest admissible to General Provident Fund account year-wise from 1.4.1998 are given below for ready reference.
7. In respect of pensioners drawing pension under Public Sector Bank Scheme, the concerned Banks will work out the commutation arrears due to the pensioners and disburse the arrears of commutation of pension.
