ORDER:
The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-section (2) of section 57, read with sub-section (2) of section 19 of the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 (Central Act 14 of 1998), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby make the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules 1998:-
AMENDMENTS
In the said Rules, after rule 11, the following rules shall be inserted, namely:-
" 11-A. STATUS - Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing rules, the conditions, of service and other perquisites available to the Chairperson shall be the same as admissible to a serving Judge of a High Court as contained in the High Court Judges (Conditions of Service) Act, 1954 (Central Act 28 of 1954) and High Court Judges (Traveling Allowances) Rules, 1956. "
