ANNEXURE.

NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Act, 1959 (Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 1959) read with clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Additional Sales Tax Act, 1970(Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1970), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes an exemption in respect of the additional tax payable under the said Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1970 by Thiruvalargal Hyundai Motor India Limited, Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District on the cars and components manufactured and sold by them. 

2. The Notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and from the 1st October 1998 and shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 30th September 2012.
