ORDER:

The Special Officer, Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank has sent proposals for revision of wages and other monetary benefits to the employees of Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank for consideration of Government under Rule 149 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Rules 1988.  The previous wage settlement between the employees union and the management of Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank expired on 31.12.2000.

2. The Registrar of Cooperative Societies has sent his remarks on the wage revision proposals.   The Government have carefully  examined the various recommendations made by the Special Officer in the  light of the remarks offered by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.  The Government have decided to accept the recommendations of the Special Officer expect a few. Certain recommendations have been accepted with modifications.  Accordingly, the Government pass orders in respect of various recommendations of the Special Officer as detailed in the annexure to this order.

3. The Registrar of Cooperative Societies is requested to take necessary action to implement the orders of the Government. 

4. The present pay revision will have effect from 1.1.2001 and the employees are eligible to receive  pay arrears from that date. The Government also order that these pay scales and allowances will be in force till 31.12.2010.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O. No. 167/SS(LK)/2003   dated 23.06.2003.
