ORDER:

In  the letter first read above, the Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection has stated  that the Mahendra and Mahendra Jeep TMP7213 allotted to the Special Tashildar, Civil Supplies, Coimbatore (South) is in bad condition and that it would require a lot of repairs to make it road worthy and as such he has sent a proposal for premature condemnation of the vehicle.

2.  The Director of Motor Vehicle and Maintenance Department has recommended for the premature condemnation and to sell the Mahendra and Mahendra Jeep TMP 7213 allotted to the Special Tashildar Civil Supplies, Coimbatore (South).  The Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection  has requested orders for precondemnation of the vehicle.

3.  The Government, after careful examination of Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Chennai permit the premature condemnation of the Vehicle No.TMP 7213 allotted to the Special Tashildar, Civil Supplies, Coimbatore (South), subject to the condition that the driver post which may become vacant consequent on this premature condemnation of vehicle should be redeployed immediately till a new vehicle is allotted to this  department.

4. This order does not require the concurrence of   Finance Department vide G.O. (Ms) No.510, Finance (Salaries) Department, Dated 29.9.97.
