ABSTRACT Buildings Construction of new building for Kancheepuram District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum at Melamaiyur Village in Chengalpattu Taluk - Expenditure - Sanctioned - Revalidation - Orders Issued. Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (H2) Department G.O.Ms.No.15 Read:- 1. G.O.Ms.No.145, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department Dated 14.5.2002 2. From the Registrar, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Letter No.A1 / 2224 / 94 (Buildings) dated 17.9.2003 and 12.12.2003 ORDER:- In the Government orders first read above, the Government accorded sanction for incurring an expenditure of Rs.18.70 lakhs (Rupees Eighteen lakhs and seventy thousand only) for construction of own building to the Kancheepuram District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum at Melamaiyur Village in Chengalpattu Taluk Kancheepuram District. 2. The Registrar, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, in his letter second read above, has stated that the Chief Engineer PWD (Buildings) in the letter addressed to him, has reported that the work relating to the construction of office building for Kancheepuram District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum was started only during March 2003, due to various factors like selection of contractors, handing over of land to the contractor etc. and therefore the amount allotted for the above work in the Revised Estimate for 2002-2003 could not be utilised during 2002-2003. The Registrar, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has therefore requested Orders of the Government revalidating the amount of Rs.18.70 lakhs, sanctioned in the Government Order first read above, for the construction of building for District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum Kancheepuram at Chengalpattu, for 2003-2004. 3. After careful consideration, the Government accept the request of the Registrar, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and accordingly revalidate the orders issued in the Government Order first read above for incurring an expenditure not exceeding Rs.18.70 lakhs (Rupees Eighteen lakhs and seventy thousand only) during 2003-2004 for construction of own building to the Kancheepuram District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum at Melamaiyur Village in Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following head of account. 4070-00- capital outlay on other Administrative Services -800 - other expenditure - Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - III centrally sponsored - SB - cost of land for accommodation of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum buildings - 16 Major works (DPC 4070-00-800-SB-1609) Necessary funds will be provided in Final Modified Appropriation 2003-2004. The Chief Engineer, Public Works Department (Buildings) is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 3 above. 5. This orders issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.310 / SS (KSG) / 2003 dated 9.1.2004 and the Additional sanction ledger No.986. (BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR) S.
