ORDER:-

In the G.O. first read above, the toiletary charges of Rs.5.00 per month paid to the boarders of Backward Classes/ Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities hostels was increased to Rs.10.00 per month during 1996-97. The Director of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare and Director of Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities have sent proposals for the enhancement of toiletary charges to the Backward Classes/ Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities hostel boarders from Rs.10/- to Rs.15/- per boarder per month at a cost of Rs.27.45 lakhs in the year 2005-2006 under Part II scheme.

2. The Government after careful examination has decided to accept the proposals and accord sanction for enhancing the toiletary charges paid to the Backward Classes/ Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities hostel boarders from Rs.10.00 to Rs.15.00 per month (Rupees fifteen only) with effect from 01.04.2005. Sanction is also accorded for a sum of Rs.27.45 lakhs (Rupees twenty seven lakhs and forty five thousand only) being the additional cost for 2005-2006 towards the enhancement of toiletary charges from Rs.10/- to Rs.15/- to the Backward Classes/ Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities hostel boarders as detailed below:-

3. The expenditure shall be debited to the following heads of accounts:-

(1)Backward Classes Hostels (Rs. 14.71 Lakhs)

(2) Most Backward Classes Hostels (Rs.7.81 Lakhs)
