ORDER

In the letter read above, the Commissioner for Milk Production and Dairy Development has requested the Government to issue notification under section 3 of the Tamil nadu Cooperative Societies Act 1983, conferring the powers of Registrar under the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act 1983 on the other officers of the Dairy Development Department

2. The Government after careful consideration of the proposal of the Commissioner for Milk Production and Dairy Development have decided to issue a notification.

3. The following notification shall be published in the Tamil nadu Government Gazatte:

Notification:

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamilnadu Act 30 of 1983) and in suppression of all previous notifications on the subject issued under the Tamilnadu Cooperative societies Act 1961, (Tamilnadu Act 53 of 1961), the Governor of Tamil nadu hereby confers on the officers specified in column (1) of the Table below the powers of a Registrar specified in the corresponding entries in column (2) through under the Tamilnadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983.

(Cooperation) Society all the powers of a

Registrar under the said Act

except those referred to in

sections 33(4), 75 and 181

ii) In respect of any Central Dairy

Society all the powers of a

Deputy Registrar (Dairying) (I) In respect of any Primary

Dairy Society all the powers of

a Registrar under the said Act,

except those referred to in

Sections 12, 14, 33 (4). 33(7),

36, 68 (C) 69, 75, 88, 89,

152(2) (a) 153, 173 and 181.

ii) In respect of an central Dairy

Society, all the powers of a

Registrar under the said Act

except those referred to in

Section 12, 14, 18, 32(2) I) (a)

33(4), 33 (6), 33(7), 33 (12),

35, 36,66,68, 69, 75, 76, 77,

88, 89, 137, 140, 142, 152(2)

(a) 153, 164, 166, 173, 178

and 181.

Cooperative Sub Registrar (Dairying) In respect of any Primary Dairy

Society all the powers of the

Registrar under sections 32(3)

32(4), 32(5), 81, 82, 85(1), 87,

90, 129, 143 and 144 provided

that the powers under section

87, and clause (c) of sub

section (1) of Section 90 shall

be exercised only in respect of

cases involving a sum not

exceeding Rs.10,000/- and the

powers under section 144

shall be exercised only in

respect of cases involving a

sum not exceeding Rs.5000/-
