---- ORDER: In the Government order first read above, financial sanction to the tune of Rs 1,72,72,650/- has been accorded towards the Central and State Governments’ share including the beneficiaries share in the 1:1/2:1/2 ratio for disbursement to 30,192 marine fisherwomen belonging to 10 (ten) coastal districts from Chennai to Ramanathapuram under the Centrally shared Saving-cum-Relief scheme for the year 2003-04. 2. In the letter fourth read above, the Director of Fisheries has furnished the society wise actual monthly subscription amount remitted by the members under the Saving-cum-Relief scheme in respect of Kanniyakumari, Thoothukudi and Thiruvelveli districts as follows:
The Director of Fisheries has therefore requested the Government to sanction a sum of Rs. 1,36,73,400/= being the beneficiaries, State Government and the Central Government's contribution (1:1/2:1/2) for disbursement to 12,800 Marine Fisherwomen of Kanniyakumari, Tuticorin and Tirunelveli Districts during the year 2003-2004. 3) The Government after careful examination sanction a sum of Rs 1,36,73,400/= (Rupees one crore, thirty six lakhs seventy three thousand and four hundred only) towards the beneficiaries, the State Government and the Central Government's contribution for disbursement to 12,800 marine fisherwomen of Kanniyakumari, Thoothukudi and Thirunelveli Districts under the Saving-cum-Relief Scheme for the year 2003-2004. The Director of Fisheries may be requested to release the relief amount based on the actual subscription made by the beneficiaries in these districts. 4) The Director of Fisheries is also requested to satisfy himself that the beneficiaries Marine Fisherwomen are satisfying the conditions stipulated by the Government of India in the reference second read above and re-iterated in the reference third read above. 5)The amount sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following head of account:
