Sankaralingam, Regional Joint Director appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency – Deployment of staff from Director of Veterinary Services to Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency – Orders-Issued. ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND FISHERIES (AH4) DEPARTMENT G.o.Ms.No.71 READ 1. G.O.(Ms)No.18, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, dated 9.2.2002. 2. G.O.(D)No.176, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (AH7) Department, dated 22.10.2002. 3. From the Director of Veterinary Services Lr.No.110237/D5/97, dated 23.4.2003. ORDER: In the reference first read above, in order to implement a new Centrally Sponsored Scheme Viz. National Project for Cattle and Buffalo Breeding (NPCBB) during 9th and 10th Plan in respect of Tamil Nadu on 100% grant basis, the Government have constituted Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency under the Chairmanship of Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Secretariat, Chennai.9. Accordingly, the above said agency was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975. The Government of India has conveyed their administrative approval for a sum of Rs.20.28 crores for three year period during 2002-2003 to 2004-2005 and released a sum of Rs.5.70 crores to Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency by Demand Draft No.106361, dated 2.4.2003. 2. In Government Order second read above, Dr. S. Sankaralingam, Regional Joint Director of Animal Husbandry has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency for successful implementation of the National Project for Cattle and Buffalo Breeding Scheme. 3. In his letter third read above, the Director of Veterinary Services has requested the Government to issue orders for filling up the following posts by deployment/ deputation from the existing sanctioned posts:-

The Government have carefully examined the proposal of Director of Veterinary Services and direct that the posts mentioned in the Annexure to this order be deployed from the Director of Veterinary Services to the Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency. 5. The Director of Veterinary Services is requested to divert the posts ordered in Para 5 above to the Tamil Nadu Livestock Development Agency immediately under intimation to the Government. 6. The Pay and Allowances of the incumbents of the posts mentioned in Annexure to this order should be met from the Managerial grant sanctioned by Government of India. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.34126/AH&F/2003, dated 3.6.2003. (BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR) M.
