… ORDER: In the Government Order first and third read above, financial sanction to the tune of Rs.20,25,41,850/- has been accorded towards the Central and State Governments share including the beneficiaries share for disbursement to 1,73,386 marine fishermen of Chennai to Ramanathapuram Districts including Rameswaram and Kanniyakumari Districts under the Saving-cum-Relief Scheme for the year 2002-2003. 2) In the Government Order first read above it has been ordered that separate orders would be issued in respect of the Thirunelveli and Thoothukudi Districts on completion of the fishing season in these districts as well as collection of their monthly contribution in full. 3)In their letters second read above, the Government of India have released their entire share for implementation of this scheme in Tamil Nadu during the year 2002-2003. 4) In her letter fourth read above, the Director of Fisheries has stated that a sum of Rs.1,13,13,375/- has been collected from the 19,575 marine fishermen of Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli Districts during the fishing period from July 2002 to February 2003. The Director of Fisheries has therefore requested the Government for sanction of a sum of Rs.2,26,26,750/- (Rupees two crores twenty six lakhs twenty six thousand seven hundred and fifty only) towards the State and the Central Governments share including the beneficiaries share for disbursement to 19,575 marine fishermen of Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli Districts under the Saving-cum-Relief Scheme for the year 2002-2003 as follows:-
5) The Government after careful examination, sanction a sum of Rs.2,26,26,750/- (Rupees two crores twenty six lakhs twenty six thousand seven hundred and fifty only) towards the beneficiaries the State Government and the Central Government’s contribution, for disbursement to 19,575 marine fishermen of Thoothukudi andTirunelveli Districts under the Saving-cum-Relief Scheme for the year 2002-03. 6) The amount sanctioned in para 5 above shall be debited to the following head of account:- "2405.00 – Fisheries – 800. Other Expenditure – Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan – VI .Schemes Shared between State and Centre – UA. Relief Scheme for Tamil Nadu Marine fishermen during lean months – 11. Subsidies - 01. Individual based subsidy (DPC . 2405.00.800.UA.1117)". 7) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No106/JS(TB)/2003 dated.8.5.2003.
