ORDER :

In the G.O  second read above Government have sanctioned a sum of Rs.18,30,45,600/- for disbursement to 127.154 marine fishermen and 76,230 marine fisherwomen of 10 coastal districts during 3 months from September to November 2005 under Savings cum Relief Scheme for the year 2005-06 

2.  In the letter fifth read above, the Director of Fisheries has sent a revised proposal including the subscription amount collected from the members of Irular Marine fishermen of marine fisherwomen Co-op Societies in Cuddalore district.

3.  Further Director of Fisheries  has requested to sanction the 2nd instalment of balance relief amount of Rs.5,90,37,900/- towards the disbursement for the month of December 2005 to the beneficiaries of 10 coastal districts   i.e. Chennai  to Ramanathapuram District including the  amount collected from the additional beneficiaries enrolled in Cuddalore District as detailed below:-

I)  a)  Actual subscription amount collected from the beneficiaries and remitted into Government account in respect of 10 coastal districts i.e.  Chennai to Ramnad (from April 05 to August 05 - 5 months)

Pending financial sanction from the Government of India sanction is hereby accorded for a sum of Rs.5,90,37,900/- (Rupees Five crores nine lakhs, thirty seven thousand and nine hundred only) for disbursement to 1,27,372  marine fishermen and  76,333 marine fisherwomen of 10 coastal districts i.e. from Chennai to Ramanathapuram  for the  disbursement of relief amount for the month of Dec'05 under the Savings-cum-Relief-Scheme for the year 2005-06.

The above  expenditure shall be debited under the following head of account  :-

" 2405-00-Fisheries - 800. Other expenditure - Schemes in the  Tenth Five Year Plan - VI.  Schemes shared between State and Centre - UA. Relief Scheme for Tamilnadu  Marine Fishermen during  lean months - 11. Subsidies - 01.Individual based subsidy (DPC 2405-00-800-UA-1117)

The Director of Fisheries is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para above to the beneficiaries strictly as per the guidelines of Government of India.

The Director of Fisheries is directed to send the Utilisation Certificate to this Government / Government of India in the prescribed format.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 386/J3(KG)/2005, dated 07.10.2005.
