ORDER:

In the Government order first read above, the Government have released a sum of Rs.208.00  lakhs both Central  and State's share on (50:50 pattern), towards first instalment for construction of 2000 houses, 90 tube wells and 4 community halls sanctioned at a total cost of Rs.834.00 lakhs under the Centrally  Shared Scheme of  "Development of Model Fishermen  Village Scheme", during the year 2001-2002.

2. In the letter second read above, the Government of India was requested to release its balance share of Rs.313.00 lakhs under this scheme.

3. In their letter third read above, the Government of India have released their second instalment of Rs.75.00 lakhs (Rupees seventy five lakhs only) under this scheme.  The Director of Fisheries in her letter fourth read above has requested for sanction of a sum of Rs.150.00 lakhs (Rupees one crore and fifty lakhs only) towards  both Central and State Government's share (on 50:50 basis) under  the "Development of Model Fishermen Village Scheme" sanctioned during the year  2001-2002.

4. The Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Director of Fisheries,  sanction a sum of Rs.1.50 crores (Rupees one crore and  fifty lakhs only) as second instalment towards construction of 2000 houses, 90 tube wells and 4  community halls under  "Development of Model Fishermen Village Scheme" sanctioned at a total cost of Rs.834.00 lakhs during the year 2001-2002.

5. The Director of Fisheries is requested to follow the guidelines of Government of India scrupulusly while taking up construction of the above components.  The Director of Fisheries is also requested to send both physical and financial progress reports/utilisation certificate to Government of India under intimation to Government.

6. The expenditure sanctioned in para 4 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

"2216.Housing -80. General-800. Other expenditure -Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan-VI. Schemes shared between State and Centre - UA. Construction of houses for fishermen.09.Grants-in-aid 03 Grants for specific scheme. (D.P.Code.2216-80-800-UA-0933)

7. Necessary funds have been provided in the Revised Estimate/Finally Modified Appropriation 2002-2003.

8. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.68/JS(TB)/2003 Dated.25.3.2003.
