ORDER:-

In the Government Order first read above, orders were issued to collect Re.1/- for deworming of one sheep.

2. In the Government Order second read above, orders were issued for free deworming, cancelling the earlier orders issued in the Government Order first read above.

3. In the letter third read above, Director of Veterinary Services has sent a proposal for collecting a charge of Re.1/- per Sheep/Goat for deworming, from the beginning of the financial year (i.e) from 1.4.2004, in order to increase the revenue to the Government and also to compensate the cost of drugs used in the deworming operations and service charges to some extent.

4. The Government, after careful examination, accept the proposal of the Director of Veterinary Services and accordingly direct that a charge of Re.1/- per Sheep/Goat for deworming be collected from the farmers.  This order shall take effect from 1.4.2004.

5. The amount ordered to be collected in Para 4 above shall be credited to:-

0403 00 - Animal Husbandry - 104. Receipts from Sheep and Wool Development - AB Sheep - Deworming (DPC No.0403 00 104 AB 0009)"

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.8943 / Fin.AH & F / 04, dated 12.2.2004.
