ORDER
In the Government order first read above, Government approved the Price Policy for procurement and distribution of Oilseeds Viz. groundnut, gingelly, castor, sunflower and soyabean during 2006-2007.
2. The Commissioner of Agriculture in his letter second read above has sent the price policy for the year 2007-08 for approval of the Government and also requested to ratify his action in having followed the existing price policy for the current year.
3.The Government after careful examination accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Agriculture and approve the following Price Policy as recommended by the Commissioner of Agriculture for Procurement and distribution of Oilseeds viz. groundnut, gingelly castor, sunflower and soyabean during 2007-08.

4. The Government also ratify the action of the Commissioner of Agriculture in having permitted the Joint Directors of Agriculture to adopt the existing price Policy as approved in the G.O.Ms.No.196 Agriculture Department, dated 4.8.2006 for the year 2007-08 in anticipation of Government orders till a revised orders is received.
5. The Commissioner of Agriculture is requested to ensure that the price policy should be finalized well in advance for 2008-2009 along with the sanction of expenditure for procurement of Oilseeds and that the Price Policy should be formulated for 2008-2009 with the provision to recover cost in full involved in both procurement and distribution activities.
6. This order issues with the concurrent of Finance Department vide U.O.No.38572/Agriculture/07, dated 7.7.2007
