ORDER:-

In the letter read above the Commissionr of Agriculture has stated that the Bag closers are old and often get into repair during peak period and that therefore he has proposed to purchase approximately 50 Nos. of Bag closers at a total allocation of rs.3.00 lakhs. Under the part-II scheme 2007-08.

2. He has, therefore requested the Government for administrative sanction and financial sanction for a sum of Rs.3.00 lakhs (Rupees three lakhs only) to purchase 50 Nos. of Bag closers.

3. Government after careful consideration accord sanction to purchase 50 Nos. of Bag closer machines at a total cost of Rs..3.00 lakhs(Rupees three lakhs only) under part II scheme 2007-08 at a cost of Rs.6,000/- each (approximately) to Seed Processing Units and Agriculture Extension Centres.

4. The Commissioner of Agriculture is directed to follow the existing codel and Tender Procedure strictly while purchase of the Bag closers.

5. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to "2401-00 Crop Husbandry -103-Seeds-Schemes in the Eleventh Five Year Plan -11-State Plan JB Procurement and distribution of Paddy and Millet Seeds. 19 Machinary and Equipments -01 Purchase ". (2401-00-103-JB 1912)

6. The Commissioner of Agriculture is authorised to draw and disbursed the amount sanctioned in para 3 above as per the norms in force and to send Utilisation Certificate in the prescribed format to Government.

7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.26262/Agri/2007, dated 30-4-2007.
