ORDER

In the letter read above the Commissioner of Agriculture has stated that the Mini Seed Processing Machineries now available are old and that he has proposed to purchase 5 Nos of Mini Seed Processing Machineries at a total cost of Rs.1.5.00 lakhs to process the State Seed Farm and from the Seed Farm ryots etc. for the quality Seed Production and further Seed Multiplication to higher production under Part-II Scheme for 2007-08.

2. The COA has therefore requested the Government for administrative sanction and financial sanction for a sum of dsRs.15.00 lakhs (Rupees Fifteen lakhs only) to purchase 5 Nos.of Mini Seed Processing Machineries under Part-II scheme for 2007-08.

3. The Commissioner of Agriculture is directed to follow the existing codel and tender Procedure strictly while purchasing the materials.

4. The expenditure sanctioned and shall be debited to "4401-00 Capital outlay on the CH-103 Seeds –Schemes in the eleventh Five Year Plan-II State Plan JB Seed Processing Unit 19 Machinary and Equipments -01 Purchase". (DPC 4401-00-1103 JB 1918).

5.The Commissioner of Agriculture is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 2 above as per the norms in force and to send Utilisation certificate in the prescribed format of the Government.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.26261/Agri 2007, dated 30-4-2007.
