ORDER:

An extent of 21.77 acres of land in Survey No. 1/2, 1/3, 1/19, 1/20 and 4/1 of Ilandhaikulam Village, Madurai (North) Taluk, Madurai District has been alienated in favour of Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCOT) for setting up of an Information  Technology Park in the Government Order first read above.

2. The Managing Director, ELCOT has sent proposals to Government for according Administrative sanction to float a one million sq.ft Information Technology Tower at the 21.77 acres of land alienated to ELCOT in the Government Order first read above. The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department has agreed to transfer 7.14 acres of land  to ELCOT which is located within the boundaries of lands already alienated.

3. The Government have examined the proposal of Managing Director, ELCOT in paragraph 2 above and after careful consideration decided to  accept it.  Accordingly, administrative sanction is accorded to Managing Director, ELCOT to float a one million sq. ft Information Technology Tower building in a part of the 21.77 acres of land alienated infavour of ELCOT in the Government Order first read above and 7.14 acres of lands proposed to be alienated from Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department

4. The orders regarding the modalities of setting up of the Information Technology Tower building and funding will be issued separately.
