ORDER:      

The Government in the G.O. read above have constituted the State Level Tamil Nadu Information Technology Council to be chaired by Hon'ble Chief Minister and having representatives from the Government, Industries and Academia to review the progress of Information Technology in the State and give policy directions

2. The Government have now decided  to include Hon'ble Minister  (Law & Information Technology) in the Tamil Nadu Information Technology Council  and designate him as the Vice Chairman to the TNIT Council.  They accordingly issue the following amendment to the G.O. read above.

AMENDMENT

In the para 3 of the G.O. (Ms.) No.14, IT Department, dated 25.07.2001 after the word Chief Minister the following shall be inserted.

Minister (Law & Information Technology)       - Vice Chairman
