After taking note of the present position of the School Education Department, the High Level Committee has prepared the Rough Draft Rules,   taking into account the Amendments made and the Government Orders issued from time to time, the views and suggestions expressed by Headmasters, Private School Secretaries, Managers, Departmental Officers, Retired Officers and written representations received from various associations and eminent educationists.

The Director of School Education is pleased to invite suggestions from those who are interested in education in the capacity of parents, teachers, students, officers, secretaries or correspondents of schools. As this revision is taken up after a long period, the public are requested to utilize this opportunity to express their views either to the Chairman or Member Secretary of the committee by post or e-mail before 15^th May 2003.
