CHARTER
The Tamil Nadu Wakf Board is implementing the
following schemes.
(A)
ULEMA PENSION SCHEME
Ulema Pension
at the rate of Rs. 750 per month is sanctioned to eligible Ulemas.
(B)
Scheme for the sanction of financial assistance for the repairs and
renovation of Mosques and Darghas and for the
construction of compound wall, Barbed
wire fencing around Burial Ground
(Kabarasthan).
(C)
Scheme for the sanction of Financial Assistance for major Repairs and Renovation of Pallivasal
(Mosques) and Darghas.
(D)
Schemes for the sanction of loan for the Development of Urban Wakf properties for Central Wakf
Council.

i. Should be a Ulema
ii.
Should have served for a minimum period of 20 years as a Pesh Imam
(or) Mouzzin (or) a Arabic Teacher (or) Mozawar in a Wakf registered with
the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board (or) Un-registered Wakf but Surveyed and
Notified in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
iii.
Age should be above 60 years.
iv.
Income should
not exceed Rs. 1,000/- per month.
v.
Age relaxed from 60 years to 50 years and the qualifying service
from 20 years to 10 years for handicapped and permanently disabled.

B) Scheme for the sanction of Financial Assistance for the
repairs / renovation of Pallivasals and Darghas and for the construction of
compound wall / Fences around the Muslim Kabarasthan (Burial Grounds)
