Thus, the Revenue Department renders myriad services to you and to the community at large. On our part, we are there to help you both in normal times and in times of natural calamities. From you, we seek your cooperation through the following:-

  • Application in time.

  • Application with all relevant supporting documents.

  • Meeting the concerned officials directly for assistance.

  • Refraining from approaching touts or other brokers for intercession.

  • Not offering bribe or any other incentive to the official.

  • Reporting to higher officers when bribes are demanded.

You may meet the Tahsildar, Revenue Divisional Officer and District Collector on any Monday. All Mondays are entirely earmarked for serving you.  "Monday" in Revenue Department is known as "Public Grievances Day". On that day, Public Grievances receive exclusive attention and overriding priority.

Similarly, 2nd Wednesday in the month is earmarked for District Administration Authorities to go to interior villages for receiving petitions from the public and redressing them on the same day to the extent possible. There is a Special Deputy Collector with a requisite complement of staff to attend to Public Grievances alone. He is a full time officer for attending to public needs and grievances.

You are cordially invited to avail all the above facilities. For us, Revenue Department, a member of Public is not an interruption to our work. Rather, he/she is the very purpose of our existence. We deem the fact that we are not doing the public a favour by serving him/her. Alternatively, the public is doing a favour to us by giving us an opportunity to serve him/her.

Kindly help us to help you. Through your help, we hope to reach you in right time, through right way and with kind service.

Yours Ever in Public Service,

Minister for Revenue.
