CITIZENS' CHARTER LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT DEPARTMENT
INTRODUCTION This Citizen Charter is nothing but a statement of the Departments commitment to provide a qualitative service for the Public. It also aims to create an awareness on the part of each and every citizen about the facilities that are made available by the Government for his growth and prosperity. For this purpose it aims to educate him as to how to approach the Departmental Officers/authorities concerned and about the procedures that should be followed and the documents to be filed by him. 2. With the above objects in view a “CITIZEN’S CHARTER” has been prepared detailing the services rendered by the Labour, Factories and the Employment and Training Departments for information of the general public. It is the desire of this Government that the working class, and the employers in particular and the public in general shall make use of this document effectively to utilise the services rendered by the above Departments so as to avail the benefits in time.
