Revaluation
In addition to issue of Xerox copies of answer scripts, revaluation is
also permitted in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, Botany and Maths of Plus Two Examiantion. The
scripts are revalued by a three-member committee of subject experts. Any increase or
decrease in marks on revaluation is effected in both ways. This system had ensured not
only transparency in the evaluation methods adopted but also bring into focus the
accountability of teachers. Only those candidates, who apply for Xerox copy of
answer scripts are permitted to apply for revaluation. Revaluation
should be applied to Director of Government Examination within 5 days of the
receipt of xerox copy of the answer scripts.
Director
of Government Examination will issue the application form and it should
be submitted to The Director, Directorate of
Government Examination, Chennai-6
Processing of the
application takes approximately 25 to 30 days.

Fee
for revaluation of each subject (Rs.5/- Service Charge) |

Candidates in Chennai City should remit the prescribed fee in the form of
Demand Draft drawn in favour of
Director,Directorate of Government
Examination,
Chennai-6
Candidates other than Chennai City may remit the prescribed fee under
the following Head of Account through Challan in Treasury/Sub-Treasury.
