Special Rules

VIGILANCE AND ANTI CORRUPTION  SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER

(DIRECTORATE OF  VIGILANCE AND ANTI CORRUPTION)

(G.O.Ms.No. 615, P&AR (Per.N) Dept., Dated 30.11.88  with effect  from  5th  May 1978)

In the said Special Rules, (1) in Part-I, after class LXXIV and the  entries  relating thereto, the following class and  the entries shall be added, namely:-

  "Class LXXV ...     Superintending  Engineer, Directorate  Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Madras";

(2)  in Part-II after Class LXXIV and the rules there under , the following class and the rules shall be added, namely:-

  "Class LXXV ...     Superintending Engineer, Directorate  of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Madras.

  1.    Constitution:  This class  shall  consist of Superintending Engineer, Directorate of  Vigilance   and Anti-Corruption, Madras.

  2.   Appointment:  Appointment to the post shall be made by recruitment  by  transfer from among the holders of the post  of Superintending  Engineers in the Tamil Nadu Highways Engineering Service  or  in  "Branch-I  - Public Works" of  the  Tamil  Nadu Engineering Service.

3.   Tenure:  A person appointed to the post may, at the discretion of the Government hold the post for a period of three years, which may be extended by the Government by such period or periods, as may be deemed necessary.

4.   Grant of Leave:  The competent authority for grant  of leave shall be the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption".


ADHOC RULES

PERSONAL ASSISTANT (ADMINISTRATION)

IN THE DIRECTORATE OF VIGILANCE AND ANTICORRUPTION

(Go.Ms.No.233 P&AR (Per.N) Dept., dated 7th March 1978)

RULES:

The  General  rules  applicable  to  the  holders  of  the permanent posts in the Tamil Nadu General Service shall apply to the holders  of  the  temporary post  of  Gazetted  *"Personal Assistant  (Administration)" in the office of the  Director  of Vigilance  and  Anti-Corruption, sanctioned from time  to  time, subject to the Modifications specified in the following rules:

2.   Constitution:  The post shall constitute  a  separate class in the said service.

*  Substituted for the word "Personal Assistant (Ministerial)"  vide G.O. Ms.No.526, P&AR (per-N) Dept., dt.24.4.79 with  effect from 5.12.78.

3.  Appointment:  Appointment to the post shall be made

(i)

by recruitment by transfer from the  posts of  Superintendents  (Ministerial) in the Directorate of  Vigilance and Anti-Corruption or

 

(ii)

 by recruitment by transfer from the  posts  of Selection Grade  Superintendents  (Ministerial) or Superintendents   (Ministerial)   in   the  Police department;  or

 

(iii)

 by transfer from the posts of Ministerial  Personal Assistants in the  Police department.

 

  4. Qualifications:

    No person shall be  eligible  for appointment to the post:-

    (i) if he has completed **"55" years of  age on the first day of July of the year in  which selection for appointment is made; and

   (ii) unless  he has put in a service  of  six  years as Superintendent and/or Selection Grade Superintendent  in  the  Office  of the Directorate  of  Vigilance and Anti-Corruption or in any  other  office  in  the  Police Department.

5. Probation:

    (a) Every  person appointed to the post  shall,  from  the date on which  he  join  duty, be on probation for  a  total  period of two years on  duty  within a continuous period of three years;

    (b) The  authority competent to declare the satisfactory completion of probation  shall be the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption provided that no relaxation of rule is involved.

6. Leave and Postings:

The  Director  of  Vigilance and Anti-Corruption  shall  be competent  to  grant leave to, and order posting on return  from leave of, the holder of the post.

7. Scale of pay:

There  shall  be paid to holder of the post, a monthly  pay calculated in the scale of Rs.525-25-600-30-690-35-900.

DIRECTOR (SPECIAL FINGER PRINT BUREAU)

(G.O.Ms.No.193, P&AR (Per.N) Dept., dt.17.6.93 with effect from 16.1.1975)

RULES

The  General and Special Rules applicable to the holders of the permanent  posts of Director, Finger Print Bureau, Madras in Class  XL in the Tamil Nadu General Services shall apply to  the holders  of the temporary post of Director, Special Finger Print Bureau, directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption.

2. Constitution:-

  The  post shall form a temporary addition to the said class of the said service


TAMIL NADU POLICE SERVICE 

ADHOC RULES

DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE

(Vigilance and Anti Corruption)

(G.O.Ms.No.2454, Public (Ser.B) Dept., dated 27.12.65 w.e.f. 26.03.1964)

ADHOC RULES

The  General and Special Rules applicable to the holders of the permanent  post  of Deputy Superintendents of Police in  the Category  1 in rule 1 of the Special Rules for the Madras Police Service  shall  apply to the holders of the temporary  posts  of Deputy  Superintendents  of Police sanctioned in  G.O.Ms.No.567, Public  (Services-B)  Department,  dated the  26th  March  1964, subject to the modifications specified in the following rules.

  2. Constitution:-

The  posts shall form a temporary addition to category 1 of the said service.

3. Postings and Transfers:-

Postings  and transfers of Deputy Superintendents of Police in the  Directorate  of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption  shall  be made by the State Government.


TAMIL NADU POLICE SUBORDINATE SERVICE

INSPECTOR OF POLICE/HEAD CONSTABLES/POLICE CONSTABLES

(G.O.Ms.No.2454, Public (Ser.B) Dept., dated 27.12.65 w.e.f. 26.03.1964)

ADHOC RULES

The  rules applicable to the holders of the permanent posts of Inspectors,   Head  Constables  and   Police  Constables   in Categories  1, 6 and 7 respectively of Class I in rule 2 of  the Special  Rules  for the Madras Police Subordinate Service  shall apply  to the holders of the temporary posts of Inspectors, Head Constables and Police Constables in the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption,  subject to the modifications specified  in the following rules.

2. Constitution:-

The  posts  shall  form  temporary additions  to  the  said categories of the said service.

3. Appointment:-

Appointment to the posts specified in the column (1) of the Table  below,  shall be made by the methods specified in  column (4) thereof:-

4. Appointing authority:-

     The appointing authority shall be:-

     (i)  in  the case of  Inspectors,  the  Director of Vigilance and   Anti-Corruptions; and Anti-Corruption;

          and

    (ii) in the case of Head Constables and  police Constable the Superintendent of Police (Head Quarters).
